You register in our website. Click on "Housing queue" and "Register here". Here you can choose between the student housing queue and the queue for regular housing.

We don´t post available apartments on the website. When we have an available apartment, we send out an invitation to a viewing via email. At the viewing, you show your interest and the applicant with the longest waiting time is offered a contract.

At the beginning of each month we list available student apartments. You can show your interest in these for about 1.5 weeks.

It is not permitted to let someone else live in the apartment instead of you. If you rent an apartment, you must be registered and have your permanent residence there.

You can change your mind but only after 2-3 days after you have submitted your application. If you change your mind later than that, you may be blocked from registering your interest for 6 months. Only register your interest if you want the apartment.

Once you have signed for an apartment, the queue time is used up and your registration is removed. If you want to be in the housing queue again, you must make a new registration.

There is open fiber for TV and broadband via the communications operator Zmarket to most properties. This means that all tenants can choose freely from different suppliers and services. Visit www.zmarket.se for more information. At Salixvägen, broadband is included in the rent.

To keep your place in the queue, you must log in within 24 months for regular housing and within 6 months for student housing. If you do not log in, you will lose your place in the queue and make a new registration. We don´t send out reminders to login.

If you have been removed from the housing queue because you have not logged in, we will not refund the queue days. If you want to be on the housing queue again, you must make a new registration.

Employees at Uppsala University have priority for the apartments. The waiting time varies between our different areas and he queue time can be between 3-12 years.
